  • Natasha Gunn

    Yoga brings us to balance in the present moment, from where we can manage our destiny, step by step.

    Natasha draws from a diverse background to suit the diversity of her students' needs. Her experience and training includes Transformative Yoga, Hot Yoga, Astanga Vinyasa, Trauma-sensitive yoga, Yin yoga and Vinyasa Krama, a therapeutic traditional yoga methodology that varies the practice to suit the individual. Natasha has studied Vinyasa Krama, the Yoga Sutras and Samkhya Karika with Ramaswami Srivatsa, a former pupil of Sri TK Krishnamacharya, and she loves to bring ancient teachings into modern perspective to make the message and practice accessible to everyone. She is currently on a professional Yoga therapy program, learning how to combine the most effective aspects of traditional yoga and ayurveda with modern medicine to give her more tools to help herself and others improve overall well-being. 

    Natasha’s background includes a degree in Psychology, Features and creative writing, Editing and Coaching. Natasha’s greatest challenge has been motherhood.

  • Eniko Pianovszky

    'As long as we breath we can practice and make progress!"

    Eniko is passionate about learning, studying and sharing her knowledge unconditionally with her students. She practices and shares what she knows including Vinyasa Krama Yoga adapted to different ages and conditions, Pranayama (breathing exercises) and their physiological and mind benefits, sounds and mantras to deepen yoga practice, Dharana and chanting, the Yoga Sutras, Samkhya Karika, Yoga Yajnavalkaya, Ayurvedic lifestyle.

    Eniko, who lives in France with her husband and three children, speaks French, English, Hungarian and Russian. She has been practicing yoga for more than 20 years and now studies with Ramaswami Srivatsa and Saraswathi Vasudevan in Sri TK Krishnamacharya’s tradition.

     Appreciate your body! Experience it as an incredibly intelligent and fun tool capable of extraordinary things in co-operation with the restless mind and the loving heart. Evi loves to help her students move from the core in a safe and mindful way, keeping close to the breath. Her classes are both light and challenging, helping you keep in the movement with stillness, awaking the deep supportive muscles, giving a feeling of deep capability and confidence back to heart and soul! 

    Evi's background is both in body work, strength conditioning, and yoga of several styles including Vinyasa Flow, Astanga, Jivamukti and Yin Flow. Evi's teaching is a wonderful example of do don't tell and she excels in flowing sequences which bring the practitioner through to the end with seamless focus.

  • Flim Reydon

    'Teaching yoga is so much more than asana instruction; when training teachers, inspiring the sharing of Yoga is my main intention."

    Flim followed a yoga teacher training programme in the late 1980s at the Saswitha Stichting voor Yoga en Wijsbegeerte in Rotterdam (300 hours) and over her 30 years of teaching yoga, she has witnessed much change in the yoga world, from cult to hype. The founder of Flims Yoga Studio and later Center Open Field for Yoga & Health, since 2009 she has been teaching a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Intensive based on the teachings of Krishnamacharya, his son Desikachar, and Sivananda. Her yoga teachers include of Pattabi Jois, Shiva Rae, Donna Fahri and Donna Holleman. Later she followed workshops with Larry Schulz (Ashtanga Yoga), Mark Whitwell (the Heart of Yoga), and Susan Hately Aldous, scholar in therapeutic yoga and studied meditation and Ayurveda with Dr. Deepak Chopra.

    When cancer sufferers came on her path, Flim found that with yoga practices and psychological support she could reduce their suffering and improve their quality of life. She went on to qualify to teach two courses to support this group, Yoga Thrive (developed as a collaboration between the University of Calgary, Canada), and Susy Hately Aldous, and Cureyoga. Through her work in this therapeutic field of yoga she is recognized by the International association of Yoga Therapists, CIAYT. 

    Recently she put her studio aside to dedicate her time to deepen her own practice while offering workshops and retreats at various locations and to share her knowledge to develop yoga teachers so they can pass authentic yoga on to generations to come.

  • Hans Jakusch

    "With yoga energy-conservation took on another meaning!"

    Sustainable energy engineer, handyman and photographer, Hans has a passion for travel and sustainable building and design. A dedicated runner until he damaged his knee in a skiing accident, he loves helping other sports men and women develop in their sport by using yoga to create strength and flexibility in the body as well as the mind. Hans is passionate about serving others and from this finds purpose in his life. 

    Trained in the Sivananda school of Yoga (RYT 200), Vinyasa Krama, and Hot Yoga (Evolation) Hans is interested in personal functional alignment and anatomy of the yoga postures but does not lose sight of the importance of breath, diet, meditation and relaxation in a balanced lifestyle.

    Art Awake pictures are all viewed through his camera lens. Hans continues to grow and develop his creative passion for photography since leaving Germany at the age of 17 to travel the world. 

     

  • Brinda Van den Berg

    “Yoga is not just about the physical, but also the mental and spiritual. The breath is the link.”

    Brinda discovered yoga in 2008, while working in marketing in Singapore. In 2013 she felt a strong desire to learn more about yoga to help her cope better challenges she was facing in her life. She now lives in the Netherlands with her Dutch husband and daughter. She has been practicing for more than 6 years and has been teaching in the Netherlands for 3 years. Brinda has followed a 200 hours of teacher training in Hatha Yoga in Rishikesh with Kaivalya Yoga School and 300 hours of teacher training in Chennai with Asana Andiappan College of Yoga & Research Centre and is registered with Yoga Alliance. She has an immense desire to share her yoga practice with others so they can experience the benefits too.
